In this picture you get a sense of the lines and the symetery. The lines are simple and clean. With the camera turned at a different angle, it gives the lines more depth. It is a very smeterical picture. It looks very cool with the lines criss crossing and the colors make it very simple.

My podcast; KAB news
By law stealing music is wrong and to me stealing anything is wrong. I especially think stealing someone else's work is wrong. When you steal someone else's music, your not properly giving that artist the money and respect they deserve. We made a podcast talking about copyright infringement. From this project, my eyes have been opened to a whole new world of stealing. I strongly believe the laws should be put in place for copyright infringement. Without laws, people would steal more and more. These people should be punished and laws will punish these people.Piracy is looked down upon in our society because simply its wrong. Your taking another persons hard work and using it as your own and selling it for money. The artist who created the music should be getting that money not you. Its just like if you went to a store and stole something, you would be in trouble. So if your stealing songs than you should also be getting into trouble.
If someone decided to use my podcast as thier own, I would be highly mad. i would confront that person and make them pay the conquensces. I worked hard on our podcast and if someone took it, I would feel desvasted. Why would someone be so mean as to take someone else's work. Today's world just isnt as pleasnt as it was 100 years ago. I would never take someone elses work because I know how my it would hurt them .This is why I get all of my music legally and so should everyone else!

Micheal Bolton vs. the Isley Brothers
Before we went over the laws of copyright infringement, I had no clue what was legal and what was illegal. Now that I have learned all the laws, I will be sure to cite all my sources and to not take anyone elses work. I thought it was only a song put into a video on youtube, but it's more. When you take someone else's work then your stealing from them. I will be sure to properly use someone else's work.
In the case of Micheal Bolton vs. the Isley Brothers copyright infringement, they shared the same song and had the same lyrics. Micheal Bolton was of course way more popular than the Isley Brothers. With Micheal being so popular, it didn't matter because he stole someone elses work. The Isley Brothers wrote the song "Love is a wonderful thing" in 1966 and in 1991 Micheal "created" the same song with the exact same lyrics. Of course the case was taken to court. The Isley Brothers won the case and walked away with 5.4 million dollars. This couldn't have gone unseen, Micheal was in the wrong to just competely steal someone elses song. Micheal broke the law by taking someone elses work without their permission and selling it as thier own. Micheal was making thousands off someone elses hard work. It doesn't matter who is popular and who is not. Micheals punishment was only faced with civil penalities. I think Micheal got off "easy" he should of had to pay more or have gone to jail. Just because he's famous doens't make him "special" and able to get out of sticky situations so easily.

Technology; past and future
Over the 16 years I've been alive, there has been alot of old and new technology. When I was born in 1995 there was no such things as i-Pods or laptops. We had bricks as cellphones and boxes as computers. Back when I was in grade school, it was a privelege to even own a computer at your school, let alone your house. Once I was in 5th or 6th grade everyone started getting cellphones. of course they were the bricks or the flip phones. No one had an i-Phone or touchscreen or even a phone with internet. When I was in 8th grade, which was only 2 years later, more modern phones were being made. More people were getting phones and i-Pods.
I remeber to be so lucky to have got a phone in the seventh grade, most kids had thier phones by the fifth or sixth grade. Once in highschool, everyone had an i-Phone. I am still yet to get an i-Phone, but it is nice to have evolved from the tiny slide up phone to a full keyboard. Once I got into seventh grade we upgraded to a thinner moniter on the computers. Now at my current school we have computers that are only moniters and have everything built in. Its amazing how far we have come in only a few years. now we dont even have big chunky computers, we have laptops.
When I was five in 2000, I never imagined the world of technology that I would be living in 2011. Its amazing how far we've come. I can't even begin to imagine the next 15 years of technology. I wonder if we will have computers, or if we just have a all in one device. Combining phones, computers, tv's, and music in one. I'm excited to discover all the new devices. It's also amazing the technology we have in the medical field. Me, personally being a diabetic and having a pump which is electronic instead of having to take shots. Also having a meter instead of any other techniques.
In the years ahead, I can't even begin to imagine future technology. I hope the new technology is super easy and very useful, to anyone old or young. The thing that bothers me, is when the older generation can't properly operate a device. So I hope the new technology is user friendly.
